Short version: Camfetti is a reader-first editorial site. We don't use cookies. We don't have advertising trackers. We collect anonymous CTA-click counts so we know which articles are useful. That's essentially it.
Who we are
Camfetti is published at camfetti.com by Terra Scorpius, d.o.o. (Slovenia). If you need to reach us about anything on this page, the contact details are at the end.
What we collect
Anonymous click analytics
When you click one of our call-to-action buttons (for example "See Halo"), we record a small, anonymous event containing:
- The event name (e.g.,
halo_hero,halo_footer) - The page path where the click happened
- The language version of the page
- The referring URL, if your browser sent one
- The timestamp
We do not record your IP address, your device fingerprint, your cookies, or anything that identifies you personally. This data lives in a Cloudflare D1 database we control and is used purely to see which articles and placements drive the most clicks, so we can write better articles.
Server logs
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, maintains short-lived server logs for DDoS mitigation, bot detection, and standard infrastructure operations. These logs include IP addresses and may be retained by Cloudflare according to their privacy policy. We do not access, export, or use these logs for our own analytics.
Local storage
We use your browser's local storage to remember simple UI preferences. Specifically, when you dismiss our sticky banner, slide-in card, or exit-intent popup, we store a flag so we don't show it again. These are not cookies and they're never sent back to our server. They stay on your device and you can clear them at any time by clearing site data in your browser.
What we don't collect
- No cookies. We don't set tracking cookies, session cookies, or advertising cookies.
- No personal data. We don't collect your name, email, phone number, or location. We don't have a signup form, subscription, or account system.
- No third-party analytics. No Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, or similar. Just our own anonymous click counter.
- No advertising networks. No remarketing, no DSPs, no ad IDs.
Outbound links
Our primary call-to-action links to simplebooth.com/products/halo. When you click it, we append UTM parameters (utm_source=camfetti, utm_medium, utm_campaign) so Simple Booth's own analytics know the click came from us. Once you land on simplebooth.com, their privacy policy and cookie practices apply, not ours.
Articles may link to other external sites. Each external site has its own privacy policy; we don't control what those sites do.
Hosting and data location
Camfetti is hosted on Cloudflare Workers with data stored in Cloudflare D1. Cloudflare runs a global edge network and data may be routed through data centres in the EU, US, or elsewhere depending on your location. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details on their infrastructure.
Your rights
Because we don't collect personal data, most rights under GDPR, CCPA, and similar regulations don't have anything to act on here. Our anonymous click events cannot be linked back to you, so there's nothing to export, correct, or delete on a per-user basis.
If you believe you've submitted personal information to us through some other channel (for example, emailing us), you have the right to request access to that data, correction, deletion, or portability. Contact us using the details below.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect, we'll update this page and update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be announced on the homepage for at least 30 days.
Contact
For any privacy question or request, email privacy@camfetti.com. We aim to respond within 7 business days.
